EMMY Award winner Sergio Guerrero is one of the highest profile Writer/Director/Producers to have effectively straddled the Mexican-American border.  He Associate Produced, Co-Wrote and was the Second-Unit Director of the successful feature film, “A Day Without A Mexican”.  He has over 500 commercials under his Indie-Eye production company for international clients including, Master Card, Verizon, Kraft, Bud Light and Carl’s Jr.  Most notable are his two award-winning commercials for Corona, shot in The Red Square of Moscow and on the Great Wall of China.

Mr. Guerrero directed the exceptional documentary for the Volkswagen Lupo in Germany,  “Around the World in 80 Days”.  He has produced/directed music videos for international artists that include, Miguel Bose and Luis Miguel.  Mr. Guerrero has written and directed several TV shows, documentaries and short films, among them is the award winning "Wash and Wear” and the Chivas-USA “Si Se Puede – Yes We Can” documentary film.  He also produced and directed “Latinologues”, the DVD series with Latin American's dream team, starring Eugenio Dervez and Rick Najera.  Mr. Guerrero was also chosen to participate in the NALIP Writers Lab in New York City that very same year.

Clearly an up and coming international talent, The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences awarded Mr. Guerrero an EMMY Award for the “Job Corps” commercial campaign he produced and directed. In addition, Mr. Guerrero’s script "The Matador's Tailor" was selected for the Sundance writers’ workshop.

A graduate of USC's prestigious Film School, his thesis film, “The Promised” won first prize at the FILMEX film festival in Los Angeles. He has won many other awards including: Special Jury Award in Cartagena - Colombia, Montevideo - Uruguay and Gramado – Brazil film festivals. He has also received the Best Screenplay in Cartagena and Audience Award in Toronto and Guadalajara film festivals.

Along with producer, Marcelo C. Alvarez he is the co-founder of My Production Workshop.  Mr. Guerrero is a genuine mentor, with his patience, genius and wisdom he has contributed to the launch of numerous careers in the entertainment industry.
